Ah, the virtues of cooking en papillote… enough to delight beautiful tables with lightness, especially in our Plat Papillote!
Fish or poultry fillets, or even whole fish; the result is tender and infused with flavor. Of course, it's up to you for the fat… No additions are necessary for this type of cooking, but a few drops of a flavored oil never hurt the taste buds.
So how does our ceramic papillote work? Nothing could be simpler: you place your fillets or fish in the center of the dish, arrange some vegetables and aromatic herbs around, then season. Finally, close the lid and bake in a hot oven.
Once out of the oven, you'll have a few minutes of respite before serving; the lid retains the heat well. All you have to do is bring your Plat Papillote directly to the table (you'll love its small discreet handles that allow you to hold it with confidence). Remove the lid… And voilà, it's done: a dish served hot and elegantly presented.
And the bonus: a clean (and odor-free!) oven.
