Open champagne bottles with a sabre!
For this purpose, Pulltex has created an original sword, specially designed for these occasions.
A tradition that is finding its way into wedding feasts, parties, and formal dinners is that of “beheading” a bottle of champagne with a sabre specially made for the occasion. Begun as a means of showing off their skill on horseback, the hussards under Napoleon’s command celebrated their victories by “sabring” off the top of a bottle of champagne.
Instructions: move away from the guests and after removing the muzzle, let the sword slide energetically along the seam of the bottle, giving a sharp blow on the base of the neck so to cut the latter without bursting the glass.
Be careful the neck of the bottle breaks and flies with the cap at a speed of about 200 k/h and can reach a distance of at least 15 meters.
The handle is made of oak and the saber is delivered in a wooden case.
Children are not allowed sabreing champagne.
