The retro-style Java model has modern features. The heat-resistant borosilicate glass doesn’t alter flavor, and the lightweight plastic frame protects the glass while being comfortable to use. Bodum’s motto “good design doesn’t have to be expensive” shines through.

An eco-friendly choice
Brews coffee without paper filters or plastic capsules – just coffee, hot water, and a stainless steel plunger. Simple and sustainable brewing with maximum flavor.

How to use:

  1. Place on a flat surface, hold the handle, and pull the plunger out

  2. Add 1 rounded teaspoon (or Bodum scoop) of coarsely ground coffee per cup

  3. Pour in hot water (approx. 92–96 °C), leaving 2.5 cm space at the top. Stir with a plastic or wooden spoon

  4. Place the lid and close the spout to retain heat

  5. Brew for 4 minutes, then press the plunger slowly down

  6. Open the spout and pour – enjoy!

Easy to clean – all parts are dishwasher safe.
