Before first use
• Spread a layer of paraffin oil with a piece of kitchen paper.
• Wipe off after 15 minutes.
After each use
• When cleaning, use a drop of washing-up liquid and water sparingly.
• A 5% vinegar mixture can be used for easier cleaning.
• Scrub with coarse salt to remove stubborn stains.
• Store the cutting board dry.
Maintenance
• If necessary - oil the cutting board liberally with paraffin oil and leave overnight, then wipe off any excess oil.
• Oil any dry spots with a little paraffin oil as soon as they are discovered.
