Erik Rosendahl founded the company in 1984 as an agency for iittala and eight years later Rosendahl started production of his own products. Today, Rosendahl Design Group has a total of nine companies, including Kay Bojesen, Holmegaard, Kähler and, of course, Rosendahl.
In 1993, goldsmith Erik Bagger designed the popular wine stopper for Rosendahl, which led to the creation of the Grand Cru line. What characterizes the Grand Cru line are the four stripes that are cut into the products and thus give them a refined and timeless look. The line includes plates and bowls in various sizes, production clothes, cups and mugs, cutlery, utensils, etc.
This simple and functional range emphasises the food, provides practical kitchen basics that will last a lifetime and is easy to combine with other tableware.
