The strainer made of high-quality stainless steel prevents the drink from gaining an unpleasant, metallic aftertaste, and additionally prevents the grounds from transferring to the part of the coffee that we will drink. Coffee brewing process:

1. Pour freshly ground black coffee into the bottom of the jug.
2. Pour hot water inside the infuser.
3. Pour hot but NOT boiling water into the jug, leaving about 2.5 cm.
4. Wait a moment, ca 4 min, for the coffee to brew.
5. Replace the lid and slowly push the plunger down to push the coffee grounds to the bottom of the jug.
