How to use

When using a new cast iron teapot:

1. Fill with hot water and rinse the interior.

2. Pour it out and repeat 3–4 times.

3. Wipe the inside and outside with a dry cloth while still warm.

4. Before brewing, rinse with hot water and pour out.

5. Add the desired amount of tea into the infuser.

6. Pour hot water over the leaves and close the lid.

7. Remove the infuser after a few minutes (careful – hot!) and enjoy.

Important usage notes

• Suitable for most stovetops, but not for microwave use.

• Avoid boiling dry.

• Teapot and handle may get hot – handle with care.

• Heating may cause discoloration (not covered by warranty).

• To keep tea warm longer, we recommend using a tea warmer with tealight.

Care and cleaning

• Not dishwasher safe.

• Rinse with warm water – do not use detergent.

• Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

• Store without lid to avoid moisture build-up.

• Place paper towel between lid and teapot to absorb moisture.

• To prevent rust, lightly oil the outside and rim (e.g. with salad oil). Do not oil the interior.
